HO CHI MINH CITY — As Vietnam's textile industry upgrades and expands, new opportunities are emerging for suppliers of advanced materials, design-led fabrics, and sustainable solutions. VIATT 2027 will serve as a platform for international companies to connect with local manufacturers and industry buyers.

The textile sector is shifting from traditional cut-make-trim (CMT) methods to higher value-added production, including OEM and ODM. This evolution is driven by changing trade conditions, buyer requirements, and a focus on sustainability and traceability.

VIATT 2027 will highlight three main product sectors: Apparel Fabrics & Fashion, Home & Contract Textiles, and Technical Textiles & Technologies. The Apparel zone will feature a variety of fabrics and manufacturing solutions, while the Home zone will cater to the growing demand in residential and commercial sectors.

As the industry seeks to improve output and meet international standards, the Technical Textiles zone will showcase products and machinery across various applications, including protective textiles and nonwovens. The fair is expected to attract significant international participation, enhancing its role as a regional sourcing platform.

Sustainability will be a key focus, with initiatives like the Econogy Hub and various seminars on responsible sourcing. VIATT is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE).
