Over the summer, Roaches International, a member of the British Textile Machinery Association (BTMA), delivered its largest integrated order of textile laboratory equipment to date. Nineteen testing machines, weighing over two tons, were sent to Alia Digital Printex, a company specializing in digital textile printing and fabric production.

Established in Jakarta in 2017, Alia Digital Printex employs over 500 people and has a printing capacity of 18,000 meters of fabric per day. The new lab will enhance its manufacturing capabilities and ensure consistent fabric quality and performance.

Roaches coordinated the project with its Indonesian partner, PT. Kawan Era Baru, overseeing everything from design and equipment specification to manufacturing and on-site support. This order underscores the advantages of sourcing complete testing laboratories from a single supplier, especially as the textile industry moves towards more integrated quality control systems.

Looking ahead, advancements in artificial intelligence are expected to further enhance the integration of testing data, allowing manufacturers to better understand fabric properties and quality. Roaches aims to support this transition by providing standardized equipment and comprehensive technical support.
