MAXXAM and ApparelTASKER to Exhibit at Mare di Moda 2026 in Cannes
MAXXAM Textiles and ApparelTASKER will showcase their latest collection at Mare di Moda 2026 in Cannes from October 27-29, 2026. The partnership, formed last year, focuses on innovative stretch textiles for the Summer 2027 season.

British textile innovator MAXXAM Textiles and East London-based garment manufacturer ApparelTASKER will return to Cannes for Mare di Moda 2026, an international exhibition dedicated to swimwear, lingerie, and athleisure fabrics.
The event, scheduled for October 27-29, will highlight an expanded collection of stretch textiles and garments designed for Summer 2027. This collaboration began at Mare di Moda in 2025, where MAXXAM's distinctive crinkle-textured stretch fabric was introduced.
MAXXAM's textile, created by designer Rosemary Moore in the 1980s, features a seamless, four-way stretch with a three-dimensional crinkled surface, accommodating various body shapes. The fabric is part of the permanent collection at London's Victoria and Albert Museum.
The upcoming collection will showcase new garment silhouettes and a vibrant color palette, including citrus orange, lime green, and bright red, highlighting the fabric's versatility in modern fashion.
Sustainability is a key focus for both companies, with MAXXAM exploring lower-waste manufacturing and sustainable yarns, while ApparelTASKER employs zero-waste cutting techniques and transparent production practices.
