MarediModa Cannes to Feature Summer 2028 Collections

MarediModa is set to take place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, from October 27 to 29, 2026. This 24th edition of the international trade fair will gather prominent European manufacturers specializing in fabrics and accessories for beachwear, intimate apparel, and athleisure.

The exhibition will provide a comprehensive overview of textile innovation, emphasizing quality, creativity, ethical manufacturing, and environmental responsibility. Attendees can expect trend presentations, workshops, and displays dedicated to athleisure, alongside contributions from specialist print and design studios.

A highlight of the event will be the Spring/Summer 2028 trend program, curated by David Shah, which will explore consumer attitudes and lifestyles under the theme Ocean Vibes. This concept draws inspiration from music and contemporary subcultures, focusing on individuality and personal expression.

The Lycra Company will participate as an official partner, marking the 80th anniversary of the bikini with an exhibition tracing the evolution of beachwear. The event will also feature finalists from The Link 2026, an initiative supporting emerging design talent, showcasing their work and participating in a fashion show.
