Karl Mayer to Showcase Innovations at Changzhou Facility During ITMA Asia 2026

Karl Mayer is set to present a range of new warp knitting, warp preparation, and technical textile technologies at its Changzhou facility in China from November 19 to 23, 2026. This event will feature several machine premieres aimed at apparel, footwear, and composite manufacturers.

Among the highlights is the HKS 4-S EL, a high-speed four-guide-bar warp knitting machine designed for producing fine fabrics suitable for lingerie and sportswear. Additionally, the Rascheltronic RJ 4/2 EL will be showcased for its efficient production and versatile patterning capabilities.

Footwear manufacturers will see the world premieres of two new double-raschel machines, the RDJ 7/3 and RDJ 6/2, both designed to enhance design possibilities for knitted footwear materials. For technical textile producers, a new composite machine for biaxial non-crimp fabrics will be introduced, targeting the wind energy industry.

The event will also feature the Textile Innovation Center (TIC), showcasing developments in woven-like knitted fabrics, athleisure, and functional textiles. Workshops and consultations will address challenges in production capacity, cost-effective manufacturing, and sustainability.

This showcase will complement Karl Mayer's participation at ITMA Asia in Shanghai, where additional warp preparation technologies will be presented.
