Far Eastern New Century Supplies Innovative Fibre for World Cup Jerseys
Taiwan's Far Eastern New Century (FENC) has provided a moisture-management polyester fibre for football shirts used in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, enhancing performance and comfort for players.

Taiwan’s Far Eastern New Century (FENC) has introduced its TopCool Petal fibre for football jerseys during the 2026 FIFA World Cup held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
This innovative fibre features a petal-shaped cross-section that improves moisture transport and drying speed, while also ensuring a softer feel and better opacity when wet.
The technology was utilized by a prominent international sportswear brand for team jerseys, although specific details about the brand and teams have not been disclosed.
FENC is also expanding its recycling initiatives, aiming to create a circular polyester manufacturing system. This includes developing all-polyester synthetic leather and collaborating on a mono-material polyester footwear system to simplify recycling processes.
Additionally, FENC is broadening its range of technical fibres, including its Telix aramid fibre, which is designed for high-strength applications in various industries.
