Billion Rise Knitting Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Vietnam
Billion Rise Knitting has launched a new factory in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam, to enhance its global manufacturing capabilities and meet the growing demand from apparel brands for diversified sourcing.
Billion Rise Knitting has inaugurated a new high-tech facility in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam, backed by a $100 million investment. This factory, covering approximately 320,000 square meters, aims to support apparel brands seeking geographic diversification in their sourcing.
The facility is being developed in three phases, with the first phase completed, offering around 110,000 square meters of production space. The second phase, which will enhance knitting, dyeing, and printing capabilities, is expected to be completed by Q3 2027, while the final phase is set for Q3 2029.
According to CEO Charles Chen, the new operation will provide customers with greater sourcing flexibility and maintain the high standards expected from Billion Rise. The facility will feature advanced capabilities, including various knitting and printing technologies, as well as an eco-friendly wastewater treatment system and solar energy solutions.
JP Brogan, US managing director of sales and marketing, noted that US activewear and intimate brands are increasingly looking to Vietnam for its reputation in producing high-quality performance fabrics. The Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement further facilitates trade by eliminating tariffs, benefiting brands in Europe and the UK.
Billion Rise plans to showcase its new capabilities and fabric innovations at several international trade shows this fall, including Performance Days in Munich and Interfilière in Shanghai.
